We love: Great Scot

Jonathan Saunders' Miami-Beach inspired spring collection made the fashion pack's collective heart sing when it debuted on the catwalk. Now Matches has an exclusive on these pieces in aqua, indigo and sea-foam blue. Sigh.

We're not sure about: Plastic fantastic

From flatforms to towering heels, this season's shoes have been given the all clear and some styles look fantastic. The Audit worries that sweaty summer feet problems will only be exacerbated by the trend, though. We're concerned for a friend of a friend.

We're buying: Thakoon for NARS

Thai-born Thakoon brought the spirit of Indian spice markets to his spring collection with a series of poster-paint pastel hairstyles. Those not brave enough to experiment with pink, blue or purple-coloured clay can now nail the trend with this limited-edition collaboration.

We can't wait for: Back to the block

Street parties may be all the rage in this jubilee year but Converse's block party with an urban edge will be welcome relief from egg sandwiches. Music is from Wiley, Skepta and more, while art and skating demos and food stalls add to the atmosphere.

We're saving up for: Slip between the covers

Rick Owens, the Paris-based king of glunge, has created a range of bed linen in "darkdust", a chic steely-grey, in conjunction with fine French traditional brand D Portault. These are the last word in luxury.

£1,250 for a kingsize set, Rick Owens, 64 South Audley Street, W1
