An upcoming auction celebrates a century of fashion with photographs of style icons of the past 100 years shot by photography icons.

From Audrey Hepburn to Kate Moss, Marilyn Monroe, mick Jagger and Johnny Depp, the set of 177 images features colour and black and white images, shot by legendary photographers such as Terry O'Neill, Elliot Erwitt, Angus McBean Patrick Demarchelier and Mario Testino.

The selection of images from the eighties and early 2000 are a visual journey through the ever-changing fashion, but also a pop cultural reference point

They feature Brigitte Bardot in 1968, Moss in 2005, Audrey Hepburn in 1951, a topless Drew Berrymore and a young-looking Johnny Depp in 1986.

With prices starting at £1,000, the sale is expected to make tens of thousands of pounds.

The auction by Dreweatts & Bloomsbury will take place in London on 19 November.
