Urban Outfitters: Best new buys for a stylish festival season

This week everything is about Glastonbury, so we went shopping at the cool kid on the high-street to get our outfits gig-ready.

Urban Outfitters is known as the cool kid on the high-street, curating a wide range of product from quirky brands and emerging designers, from Adidas Originals to other less known, but equally as cool labels.

The American shop, headquartered in Philadelphia, is the place to go to if you’re looking to update your wardrobe with something a little different; think bohemian, hipster, humorous, retro or vintage-inspired items.

With Glastonbury on right now and running through the weekend, we’re feeling the festival spirit and Urban Outfitters is the perfect destination to get your outfits gig-ready.

The retailer’s new arrivals update the bright summer collections with a more understated palette of black, white and pastels.

To get in sync with the current street style happening right now over on the festival fields you’ll need a few essential items: think fringing, a bum bag, a pair of gold and silver Stan Smith trainers, washed dungarees, a pretty skater dress, customised denim shorts, a chic lace halter bra, minimalist silver jewellery and head accessories, and a vintage-inspired watch with the world’s map on its face.
