London Fashion Week has come to an end, but tonight the Brit Awards is keeping fashion insiders entertained with stars from the worlds of music and TV flocking the red carpet at the O2 Arena in their best attires.
The annual event celebrates home-grown talent by awarding the best in British music, promising exciting performances including Kanye West, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith and Taylor Swift, together with a list of big winners.
We round up the hits and misses on the red carpet of Britain’s favourite artists, from Paloma Faith to Ed Sheeran, and of some other visitors from across the pond, from Kim Kardashian to Taylor Swift. As predicted, many of the stars have opted for British names in support of the country’s in-house fashion talent. For example, Kanye West’s companion of the night, wife Kim Kardashian revealed she’s wearing a daring jumpsuit by British designer Julien MacDonald on social media ahead of the event.
Award-winning Ed Sheeran was the first one to hit the red carpet looking sharp. The Brit nominee ditched his usual comfy clothes for a smart black suit with matching tie and, well, trainers.
Brit nominee Paloma Faith followed wearing a red and black strapless gown by Armani Prive.
