It's only Saveur magazine's second year hosting the online competition but the Best Food Blog Awards has become a coveted award for bloggers. Past winners include David Lebovitz, an American blogger in Paris. Other highlights for this week's food agenda includes the chance for American baristas to show off their espresso-pulling chops and vie for the chance to represent the US at the World Barista Championship.

15th Annual Singapore World Gourmet Summit

The upcoming edition celebrates the event's 15th anniversary of bringing together Michelin-starred chefs and fine cuisine to what's fast becoming a gastronomic hub in Asia. This year's lineup includes well-known Irish TV chef personality Rachel Allen, Korea's first celebrity chef Edward Kwon who owns a European-style bistro in Seoul, and a host of international chefs. US National Barista Championship

It's where the best baristas in the country show off their coffee-pulling chops. The five-day event will see competitors face off in a series of rounds that include multi-courses of espresso-based beverages to a panel of sensory judges.  The winner will represent the US at the World Barista Championship in Colombia in June.

4th annual Pebble Beach Food & Wine show

3rd Annual Camp Blogaway
