Games designer plays Cupid for girlfriend
Let’s raise a celebratory glass of something sparkling on behalf of Anders Howard, a man who has put paid to the erroneous idea that games developers never get the girl.
He came up with the sweetly geeky idea of creating a video game in order to propose to his girlfriend Steffany. After persuading friends and colleagues to lend him their skills, Howard put together a food-based mini game which featured Steffany. He then invited her to test the game – with a crowd of onlookers – and when she unlocked the “diamond ring achievement” he got down on one knee to propose. To watch this supercute example of gaming and romantic prowess, visit Howards’s site at Goo.gl/HIpc and you can even play yourself (wedding not included).
