Games Review: Lego Batman
DS, PC, PS2, PS3, PSP, Wii, Xbox 360,Warner Bros Interactive, £19.99 - £39.99
After StarWars and Indiana Jones, it’s the Dark Knight’s turn to be immortalised in plastic. But while previous Lego titles have been based on particular films, Lego Batman doesn’t follow any of the Caped Crusader’s cinematic outings.
Instead, there is a cast of comicbook villains and plenty of the comic interludes that make Lego games great, but no spot-on Hollywood pastiches.Niggles include patchy AI and puzzles that range in quality from fun to frustrating. This doesn’t offer any new spins on the Lego formula, but it’s a lot of fun to play.
