Games Reviews: Monster Hunter Tri
£44.99
Format Wii
Publisher Nintendo
Monster Hunter Tri’s premise, a reverse Pokémon where instead of catching creatures you hunt them – all in the name of conservation – makes for blockbuster encounters. Your quarry tends to be on the monstrous side, with behemoths of the land and leviathans of the deep all falling victim to your sword, the resulting resources subsequently utilised to enhance weapons and armour. Throw in a four-player online option and Tri becomes an essential purchase.
