Diligent producers at EA Sports work around the year to ensure the wildly popular FIFA series is as close to the real thing as possible.
Faces, kits, player movements and celebrations are reproduced in painstaking detail to give players the full experience of playing and coaching their favourite team.
The game, which is released in the UK on Friday, has even gone so far as to include Luis Suarez’s ban in its Manager mode.
The move might disappoint fans who were looking forward to using Barcelona’s stellar frontline of Suarez, Lionel Messi and Neymar – three of the best players in the game.
But in manager mode Suarez’s ban for his bite on Giorgio Chiellini at the World Cup is enforced, leaving the player without the Uruguayan until 26 September.
Suarez's ban, that was initially for "all football activities" but has since been reduced to allow him to train, means the striker will return for an epic El Clasico with Real Madrid.
