Dragonborn, the next official add-on for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, will be available for download for Xbox 360 for 1600 Microsoft Points on 4th December.

This third expansion for Skyrim follows on from previous expansions Dawnguard and Hearthfire, offering what looks like some new areas to explore and possibly the chance to fly dragons (though I hasten to add that there’s no official confirmation beyond the teasing footage around the trailer’s 55 second mark).

There’s also mention of a new enemy, namely the first Dragonborn, who doesn’t look like a man to be trifled with.

No confirmation of a PC version as yet, with the DLC likely a timed exclusive for Xbox 360 before later heading the way of PCs. PS3 owners might want to look away however given the fact that Skyrim’s other updates have failed to make the journey to Sony’s console.
