Hasbro's partnership with Electronic Arts continues to bear fruit with Monopoly Millionaires, a Facebook game from EA-owned developer Playfish, the studio behind Pet Society, Restaurant City, and FIFA Superstars.

Monopoly Millionares looks instantly recognizable, with the classic board, counters, cards and basic buildings.

The twist is in accommodating the Facebook friends network, as other apps like MyTown and FrontierVille have done.

Each player hosts and customizes their own Monopoly board, increasing their winning chances not only by building and upgrading houses and hotels, but also by playing with friends and visiting one another's boards.

New hotels require friends' investment before they can open their doors, and landing on a working hotel earns Monopoly money for the landlord and a chance for the temporary tenant to increase their own property empire.

Though the game has been active since the tail end of January, it wasn't until February 16 that EA made an official annoucement.

That's been enough time for it to accrue close to 350,000 daily players, according to Facebook tracker AppData.com, though it's a fair way off from Facebook's most popular app, CityVille (96 million), and second placed FarmVille (51 million).
