Two new entries in the Japanese video game chart this week, and both games for the handheld Sony PSP: Valkyria Chronicles 2, a PSP sequel to the PS3 cult hit tactical game Valkyria Chronicles, and a fighting game to do with the Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha Japanese animations and comic books.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii, the previous week's number two, rises to first place, and last week's chart topper Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep drops to fourth. Outside the realms of the top 10, Final Fantasy XIII, the latest in the iconic adventure series, continues its fall from glory by tumbling from sixth at the start of the year down to 25th towards the end of the month.
