Should I drink my own urine? Dr Nick explains all

It’s one of those things that you probably won't do, but have heard rumours that it might actually have some health benefits...

So if you’re stuck in the desert or on a Bear Grylls-inspired adventure – you’re out of water and that ice-cold drink is now miles away; is drinking your own urine a good idea? Or even, a friend's urine?

Dr Nick Knight is adamant there are no benefits to drinking your own urine. Even for that sweet short-term satisfaction of quenching your thirst, it’ll only come back to poison you.
