WILL FISH oil soon be added to bread and milk to protect against heart disease? A report in General Practitioner says bread containing fish oil is already on sale in Denmark, and milk with fish oil can be bought in New Zealand. The Swiss are doing tests with yoghurt and infant formula feed. Omega-3, the polyunsaturated fatty acid found in fish oil, is essential for a healthy heart, but it is lacking in most Western diets.
