TRAVELLERS heading for Asia, Africa or South America should consider vaccination against hepatitis A, a flu-like illness spread by contaminated water and food. A new vaccine means that travellers will only need one injection, instead of the two jabs, two to four weeks apart, that were previously needed for full immunity - good news for the many tourists who go to their doctors only a week or 10 days before setting off.
