Bed Timers, a children's chocolate drink containing 43 per cent sugar, is being withdrawn from production by babyfood group Farley following a two-year protest campaign led by Action and Information on Sugars.
AIS has been given pounds 50,000 in grants by the Department of Health and says it plans to extend its campaigns to reduce tooth decay in infants and to remove sweets from checkout counters.
