Lindsey Lohan addresses Kim Kardashian feud: We're friends

Lindsay Lohan has addressed rumours of a feud between herself and Kim Kardashian after they traded barbs on Instagram.

It first began in January 2018 when Kim Kardashian debuted a braided hairstyle.

In addition to sparking accusations of cultural appropriation, the hairstyle also bewildered Kardashian’s former childhood friend Lohan – who commented on an Instagram picture of the hairstyle: “I am confused.”

Rather than ignore the criticism from Lohan, Kardashian responded with a comment of her own – that questioned the Mean Girls star’s “accent.”

“You know what’s confusing… your sudden foreign accent,” Kardashian wrote.

However, during a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Lohan confirmed the friendship between the two - while admitting she is still confused by the braids.

“I love Kim, so I was just confused by the braids because she just had a baby,” Lohan explained to host Andy Cohen.

“And, I don’t know. We’re friends,” she continued, before telling Cohen that she is friends with the entire Kardashian family.

As for Lohan’s accent, she recently explained to Entertainment Tonight that it is the result of the dialects she is around.

She said: “Well, I think it’s because actresses even, I think when I’m around certain dialects it changes each time - Panos even - and you just pick things up along the way.”
