Poison bug alert

South London could be invaded by poison bugs this summer, experts have warned. The brown tail moth caterpillar sheds toxic hairs which cause painful skin rashes. The caterpillar, which is black, about 3cm long, covered in long brown hairs with white and red dots, has been found to have infested some Wandsworth trees in recent years.
