The Second Coming

Somewhere in the middle of dance, theatre and performance there is Nigel Charnock whose technical skills alone take your breath away. A distillation of his three hit solo shows which dealt with and dripped with sex.

Opens tonight, The Drill Hall 7.30pm (0171-637 8270)

Anna Karenina

Helen Edmundson's adaptation of Tolstoy was a hit for Shared Experience. Ex-literary manager of the National Theatre Giles Croft, is looking for similar success with this, his first production as artistic director at this address.

Palace Theatre, Watford 7.45pm (01923 225671)

Over Hear

Neil Biswas's play about betrayal and love is one of the few plays to use signing as an integral part of the plot. The fact that it stars Casualty pin-up Matt (Stuart Laing), will do the box-office no harm. Directed by Sita Ramaurthy.

Haymarket Theatre, Leicester 7.45pm (0116-253 9797)
