Brady will make his 10th Super Bowl appearance in February

Tom Brady’s family has celebrated his accomplishment after the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback helped his team secure a place in upcoming Super Bowl LV.

On Sunday, the 43-year-old and his team won the NFC Championship against the Green Bay Packers, which means Brady will make his 10th Super Bowl appearance in the February game.

While players and fans celebrated Sunday night, the father-of-three sought out a hug from his 13-year-old son Jack, who was in the stands for the football game.

The moment, which saw Brady climb up the railings separating the field from the stands, was captured on video, with the football player first heard asking: “Can I say hi to my son?”

Brady then hugged his eldest child, who he shares with ex Bridget Moynahan. Before telling the 13-year-old: “Love you kiddo.”

Following the sweet moment, which has been viewed more than 1.8m times, the quarterback spoke to Peter King for his "Football Morning in America" column, where he revealed that having his son at the game made his accomplishment even more special.

"Doesn’t get any better for a dad than that," he told King. "He was gonna freeze his butt off here, and so I called him on Friday. I said: ‘Are you sure you wanna go?’ He’s like: ‘Dad, I wanna go.’ For him to be there and to see it just makes it so special for me. I hope it’s as special for him as it is for me."

Brady’s wife, Gisele Bündchen was also among those celebrating the win, with the supermodel writing on her Instagram Stories alongside a close-up photo of her husband: “We love and are so proud of you, papai!!!

Bündchen, who shares children Ben, 11, and Vivian, eight, with the quarterback, also shared a photo of Brady and Jack hugging after the game.

On her Instagram, the 40-year-old shared a photo of herself and the couple’s two children wearing Brady’s jerseys, where she wished her husband luck ahead of the game.

“We are already cheering here papai! We love you! Let’s go @tombrady !! Let’s go Bucs!!!” she wrote.

Moynahan also celebrated Brady’s achievement on social media, where she shared a photo of the football player, as well as one of him hugging Jack, and wrote: “Could not be more proud @tombrady said he would do it and he did. Congratulations @buccaneers.”

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will play the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LV on 7 February.
