What do you want from a smartphone? Of course, you need something that feels good in the hand, has a big display and decent battery life. It needs to be speedy for email, web browsing, and the maps that guide you. Oh, and phone calls would be good.

You can take these things for granted, but some phones do a lot more. The Samsung Galaxy S20 5G, Samsung Galaxy S20+ 5G, Samsung Galaxy Note20 5G and Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G are all tremendous – and all available from Vodafone.

Boasting pin-sharp, super-high resolution, bright displays that stretch to the very edges, you can immerse yourself in a movie or the latest game with these smartphones.

Capture video in 8k resolution

All are outstanding for design and build quality, and for multiple cameras, too, including shooting video in 8K resolution.

As you’ll guess from the 5G name, they can also connect to the latest, amazingly fast 5G network, so you can download a video in a trice and stream movies with no lag. It’s also crucial when it comes to gaming. Not all providers are equal when it comes to 5G, but Vodafone’s is widespread and growing fast.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 5G has three rear cameras, including a 64MP telephoto sensor, enabling you to get right in on the action, however far away you are. The S20+ 5G adds a fourth rear camera for DepthVision, ensuring even better photos.

With its 6.2-inch display, the S20 5G on Unlimited Lite  costs from £62pm a month with £29 upfront. The S20+ 5G has a 6.7-inch screen and on Unlimited Max costs from £79pm a month, also with £29 upfront

Both have 128GB storage, so there’s plenty of room for video. What’s more, the S20+ 5G’s choice of colours include vibrant Aura Red, which is exclusive to Vodafone.

The Note20 comes with the S Pen stylus

If you opt for the Note20 5G or Note20 Ultra 5G, there’s a nifty extra: the S Pen stylus springs out of the phone’s body and offers lots of useful features. The Note 20 5G matches the S20 5G’s cameras and 30x zoom, and it costs from £59pm (24G) a month with £29 upfront.

The Note 20 Ultra 5G certainly lives up to its name: it has a wide-angle camera with a huge 108MP sensor, making sharp photos in even low light possible, and a 50x zoom on the telephoto lens. The Note 20 Ultra 5G 128GB on Unlimited Max costs from £87pm a month with £29 upfront. Both Note models come with 256GB storage.

Vodafone’s network is outstanding – and the addition of comprehensive online assistance, hassle-free returns and free home delivery make it a winning choice.
