Debt counselling at RBS

ROYAL Bank of Scotland is planning to set up a debt-counselling service for customers, staffed by independent counsellors. Derek Sach, the bank's director of specialist lending, said customers were reluctant to talk to bank staff when they were running into financial difficulty.
