Robot reboot: the Titanfall Bundle is on sale at Asda for £349

For the next two weeks at Asda you can get £50 off a games bundle featuring the latest Xbox One blockbuster and a console. The Xbox One Titanfall Bundle has been cut in price from £399 to £349.

Titanfall is a killer robot fighting game – with a popular multiplayer element – that was created by some of the team behind the successful Call of Duty franchise.

The offer will be available at Asda branches for two weeks – so the offer should still be available for the Easter weekend – or while stocks last.

All aboard for Nectar points with FirstGroup trains

You can now earn Nectar points when booking train journeys online, with rail operator FirstGroup.

You'll get two Nectar points for every £1 you spend booking rail tickets through First Capital Connect, First Great Western, First ScotRail, First TransPennine Express and First Hull Trains.

Even better, the number of Nectar points will be doubled when you book between 14 and 27 April.

Meanwhile regular commuters will earn 2,500 for annual season tickets, 200 for a monthly and 50 points for a weekly ticket.

CollectPlus delivers a label discount

CollectPlus is a store-based delivery and returns service which is trying to be – in its own words – "a modern alternative to the Post Office".

It works by using a network of more than 5,500 stores across the country where online shoppers – it has links to internet stores such as Amazon, Asda, House of Fraser and River Island – can collect or drop off parcels.

Most stores are open early until late seven days a week, giving shoppers the convenience of being able to pick up their goods when it suits them, rather than risk being out when they're delivered.

It's a joint venture between PayPoint and parcel delivery company Yodel.

But the reason it's featured in this column is because the company is currently – until 11 May – offering new customers 20 per cent off the recommended price of their first purchase of labels at the site. The labels can be used for any send service and for any weight.
