MORE than 100 Scottish insolvency practitioners meet this week to discuss the effects of the Bankruptcy (Scotland) Bill announced in the Queen's Speech last May.
Bryan Jackson, of Pannell Kerr Forster, said ahead of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland's annual insolvency conference on Thursday and Friday that one of the key issues was the move to most cases being managed by the Government-appointed Accountant in Bankruptcy. His department would sub-contract cases to insolvency practitioners by tender.
