Britvic hit by weak demand
Britvic, the maker of Robinsons and Tango soft drinks, reported weaker sales yesterday after the washout start to the summer depressed demand.
Between April and July the group's revenues were up 0.7 per cent on a year ago in its home market, after a 13.3 per cent slide in volumes for still drinks, which include Robinsons.
Total revenues rose 12.2 per cent to £325m, boosted by the acquisition of its French business last May.
