Extra large profits goal for Hugo Boss
Hugo Boss hopes new shops and a womenswear line by one of Michelle Obama's favourite designers Jason Wu will help grow its sales and profits for the year. Mr Wu was brought in as artistic director of the fashion group's womenswear last month to re-invigorate its collections.
The chief executive Claus-Dietrich Lahrs said at its second-quarter update that: "The investments in our brands as well as our collections will be the cornerstone for a successful second half year." Its second-quarter profits beat forecasts at €102m (£89m).
