Hiscox gets off to a storming start
Hiscox, the Lloyd's of London insurer that specialises in the finer things in life, posted a revenue rise after a catastrophe-free start to the year.
As well as protecting against earthquakes, hurricanes and floods, Hiscox is known for insuring wealthy individuals and their art.
The group said that first-quarter premiums rose 12.3 per cent to £501.6m, helped by a solid performance across its global businesses.
