A trendy East London boutique hotel popular with celebrities, including Alexa Chung, has been sold for more than £65m.
The Hoxton Hotel has been sold by its founder, the Pret A Manger joint founder Sinclair Beecham, and the private equity firm Bridges Ventures to a small private equity fund, Ennismore Capital.
Mr Beecham is thought to have received a multi-million pound windfall from the sale to Ennismore, a fund set up by the former Better Capital director Sharan Pasricha.
