The London restaurant Le Caprice celebrates its 30th birthday this week by reopening after a makeover.

Director Jesus Adorno has been with the business, which is now part of Richard Caring's restaurant empire, for 30 years. Meanwhile, Caring, who also owns The Ivy, plans to open the UK's version of Balthazar next year and is one of more than 20 who have bid to take over the old Oriel Brasserie at 50 Sloane Square.
