Nissan to build new Qashqai model in Britain
Nissan is planning to invest £192m to build the next version of its Qashqai crossover model in Britain, helping to safeguard thousands of jobs.
The Japanese car giant said the decision was a "major endorsement" of the quality of British-made products.
The car will be developed at Nissan's design centre in London and at its technical site in Cranfield before being built in Sunderland.
