Octo attracts private equity
An Italian company that makes black boxes to help insurers track drivers has attracted the attention of private-equity firms including Apax, Carlyle and TPG.
Octo Telematics has also moved its management team to London ahead of a planned £600m sale this year, to help it work more closely with its clients, who come mostly from the insurance industry.
