Qantas to fly A380s on LA route

Qantas will resume flying Airbus A380 flights between Australia and Los Angeles from 16 January, the airline said yesterday.

The carrier had grounded its superjumbos after an engine on one aircraft disintegrated mid-flight in November. The resumption comes after talks with Airbus, the engine manufacturer Rolls-Royce and regulators.
