Every 7-year-old in the country is expected to pass this test. Can you?
Let's get quizzical
Thousands of parents took their children out of school on Tuesday to protest exams which are deemed too demanding for the average seven-year-old.
The SATs (Standard Assessment Tests), which start at the end of infant school, include questions in English, Maths and Science aimed to check a child’s progress.
But a petition has been started by Let Our Kids Be Kids campaign encouraging teachers to boycott SATs tests - because a week of exams are seen as too much for an average Year 2 pupil, aged between six and seven.
So, we gathered some questions from a sample Key Stage 1 exam papers for 2016 and created this quiz for you to test your knowledge.
Will you survive a Year 2 National Curriculum test? Take the quiz below to find out.
