Twitter and its users are getting into the swing of things for the FIFA World Cup. The trending topic list is dominated by terms related to the 2010 World Cup on the morning of June 11.

"Nelson Mandela" is at the top of the list. The former South African president's great-granddaughter Zenani Mandela was tragically killed in a car accident early on Friday, June 11. People on Twitter are tweeting about the news saying, "Nelson Mandela will not attend opening ceremonies of World Cup after death of great-grandchild."

Abby Sunderland, a 16-year-old solo sailor who was feared to have gone missing, was found by Australian search crews on Thursday, June 10. Microbloggers are posting about the news, pushing the name "Abby Sunderland" into third place.

The "#howcomeyoualways [how come you always...]" meme is trending on the charts in fifth place while "Oil Spill" drops two places overnight to eighth position. The name of newly released American action adventure film A-Team is in ninth place.
