BRIDGET Rowe, editor of the People, was flung like a lion to the Christians when she appeared on The Sunday Supplement, a new weekly ITV programme profiling Sunday papers and their editors. The audience berated her about the sexual content of her paper, with one woman yelling at her that she was a Christian and found the paper offensive to read on the sabbath. Ms Rowe retorted that she was a Christian, too. Having to justify kiss 'n' tell in the context of spiritual awareness is a new line of debate between Sunday tabloids and their critics.
