Nick Gordon, the former boyfriend of Bobbi Kristina Brown, has posted a photoshopped Christmas card of the couple while being embroiled in legal proceedings with Bobbi Kristina's family.

Bobbi Kristina, the daughter of the late singer Whitney Houston and R&B singer Bobby Brown died aged 22 in June. She had been in a coma for seven months after being found unresponsive in a bathtub at the house she shared with Gordon.

The autopsy determining how Bobbi Kristina died has not been made public.

Gordon reportedly posted on his private Twitter account a photoshopped image of the pair wearing Santa hats and holding presents, reports People.

Gordon’s profile image on Twitter is of him and Bobbi Kristina, the two would refer to each other as husband and wife but were not legally married.

Gordon’s post comes despite the fact was hit with a $10million lawsuit by Bobbi Kristina’s family in June, he was also reportedly barred from visiting Bobbi Kristina while she was under hospital and hospice care.

The lawsuit alleges that he severely beat Bobbi Kristina and tried to take control of the fortune left to her by her late mother.

No one has been criminally charged and Gordon’s lawyer previously refused to comment on the lawsuit.

After Bobbi Kristina's death, a wrongful death lawsuit against Gordon was then filed which accused him of administering a "toxic" cocktail of drugs and placing her in the bath.

His lawyers responded denying the allegations and calling the lawsuit amendment “slanderous and meritless” and a “fictitious assault against the person who loved Krissy most”, reports E News.

Gordon was informally adopted by Houston in 2002 and grew up with Bobbi Kristina. The pair began dating after Houston’s death.

In eerily similar circumstances Houston was found dead in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton hotel in February, 2012, her death was recorded as an accidental drowning.
