Chrissy Teigen has responded to internet commenters who criticised her for going out for dinner a week after her baby was born.

The model and her husband John Legend, announced the birth of their daughter, Luna, last week.

So over the weekend when Teigen and Legend were papp’d enjoying a date night at a restaurant, she received abuse questioning her parenting skills.

Never one to take things lying down, the 30-year-old shared an array of the comments on Twitter, writing: “I went to dinner. People are p*ssed. Good morning!” and also highlighted how “passive aggressive” many of the comments were.

Instead of getting bogged down in the midst of negative comments, Teigen chose to instead turn her attention to more pressing matters and only responded to the follower who asked what she had for dinner.

However, Teigen saved her best response for a fan who asked how the baby was doing:

Luna is the first child for the popular couple who have been open about their struggles in trying for a baby. During her pregnancy Teigen was forced to defend herself after revealing she chose the gender of her baby when undergoing IVF. The model said she had “made a mistake” in assuming most people understand the process of IVF and clarified that they chose to put a girl in first but used multiple embryos of both sexes.
