Madonna and Donatella Versace have the strangest story about Donald Trump
The singer has made her feelings about the Republican nominee known in recent weeks, but their history goes way back before the US election

When renting out an apartment, the last thing any guest wants is the owner turning up unannounced.
Especially if that proprietor is Donald Trump clutching KFC and one member of your party is a model in the middle of a fast.
Donatella Versace recalled the strange encounter during an interview with The Times, where she said the pair “couldn’t get rid of him”.
The billionaire business magnate and now, in a twist of fate few believed could be possible, the man who could be President tomorrow, arrived at his Palm Beach property which Versace was renting to shoot Madonna for a fashion campaign.
Mr Trump, 70, appeared with a bargain bucket and an insistence they eat it, according to the fashion designer.
“So when you’ve rented something, you don’t want the owner to come in. Well, he came in. I mean, we couldn’t get rid of him," recalls Versace.
“And he brought us Kentucky Fried Chicken I mean, excuse me. Models, you know? It’s fashion! He was nice, in a way. But he was pushy . . . and Madonna, she was fasting. So, ‘Do you want Kentucky Fried Chicken?’ ‘No, thank you.’ ”
