The first Edna Lumb Prize for students of painting was awarded at a ceremony held yesterday by the Edna Lumb Artistic Trust at Leeds Metropolitan University. Mr Eric Taylor presented the prize, which was awarded jointly to Miss Nicola Nemec and Miss Lorraine May. Mr Leslie Silver, Chairman of the Board of Governors, Leeds Metropolitan University, presided. A reception and exhibition were held
afterwards.
