Hocus Pocus actress Vinessa Shaw sued for allegedly hitting two pedestrians

The actress played Allison in the 1993 Disney classic

Vinessa Shaw – known for her role in Hocus Pocus – is being sued for allegedly hitting two pedestrians while driving.

According to court documents, obtained by TMZ, the actress was driving in Hollywood when she allegedly hit two women on a pedestrian crossing. Her response to the claim is thus far unknown.

Maridalia Chepi-Nolasco and Anastasia Gregorio Arce claim that they were knocked to the ground and suffered severe injuries, after being knocked down by Shaw. They allege that the traffic lights were green at the time of the incident.

Shaw made her film debut in 1981 slasher movie Home Sweet Home, which focuses on a serial killer at Thanksgiving. She went onto play Allison in Disney’s 1993 film Hocus Pocus, alongside Sarah Jessica Parker and Bette Midler.

Shaw also acted in Eyes Wide Shut, 3:10 To Yuma, 40 Days and 40 Nights and Melinda and Melinda, directed by Woody Allen.

She most recently appeared in US television series Ray Donovan, in which she plays reporter Kate McPherson. Forthcoming projects include drama film Bereave with Jane Seymour and Malcolm McDowell.
