Khloé Kardashian and Lamar Odom have called off their divorce a week after the former NBA star was found unconscious at a Nevada brothel.

Attorney Laura Wasser withdrew divorce papers on behalf of Ms Kardashian that were filed back in December 2013, ESPN reported. The document was also signed by Odom but did not disclose a reason for the decision.

Kardashian has been by Odom's side during his “incredible” recovery since his medical emergency on 13 October at the Love Ranch brothel.

“This is a very delicate and difficult time for both Lamar and Khloe, and the most sensible thing to do at such a time is not make any big moves and put everything on hold," a source close to the situation told ABC News. "So that’s what she is doing.”

Odom regained consciousness Friday and was transported to Los Angeles area hospital on Monday to recover. Kardashian posted the following statement to her website thanking fans for their continued response.

“The past week has been incredibly difficult. I am so thankful to family, friends and fans, who have sent nothing but prayers and well wishes to Lamar. I also want to take a moment to thank everyone at Sunrise Hospital, including the amazing doctors and nurses for their kindness and diligent work,” he said.

“Under their amazing care, incredible strides have been made. You can never be prepared for an experience like this, but without the outpouring of love and endless prayers that Lamar has received and the strength I was given from my loved ones, it would have been difficult to endure. Thank you for your continued support. God is great!!! XOXO, Khloé.”

There's been no public response from Kardashian's now former boyfriend James Harden, a star forward for the NBA's Houston Rockets. TMZ reported that the reality star put the relationship on hold Tuesday.
