Lowestoft-born singer Lil' Chris has reportedly died at the age of 24.

The entertainer, real name Christopher James Hardman, was discovered on Monday morning according to a police spokesperson.

Suffolk Police have said they are investigating the death of a 24-year-old male in Lowestoft. It is not being treated as suspicious.

Hardman featured on Gene Simmons' Channel 4 programme Rock School aged 15 in 2006.

Allan Dodgeon director of Lil' Chris' former record label, AD Records, told Sky News: "He was a talented young artist who we had the pleasure to live and work with for over a year.

"We are completely shocked and saddened and our thoughts are with his family."
