Floyd Mayweather counts the likes of Jay Z and Kanye West among his biggest fans. But there’s only one star he’ll be seen strutting into the ring with on Saturday night.

Justin Bieber. The obvious choice for any man wanting to portray a hardened image at the biggest fight of his career.

So obvious, that not only will he be walking the defending champion to his $300million Las Vegas mega-bout with Manny Pacquiao, but the “Baby” singer will also be carrying his championship belt, too.

An odd partnership it may seem. But the two have actually formed a close friendship over the years. Bieber has accompanied Mayweather into the ring on a number of occasions, and joined him on stage at his press conference ahead of 2 May.

The Sun reports that Bieber will also lead Mayweather’s entourage out of the MGM Grand following the fight.

“As long as his daughter wants Justin there he'll be his main man,” a source was quoted as saying by the tabloid.

“They get on really well.”

If Mayweather defeats Pacquiao, and goes on to win a further fight, he could be set to equal Rocky Marciano's record of 49 wins in a row that has remained in place since 1955.
