Rita Ora and Beyoncé chose the latter at the Manus x Machina themed event held on Monday night in New York City when they posed for a selfie together on Ora’s snapchat, finally putting those “Becky” rumours to bed.
Last week, following the release of Beyoncé’s critically-claimed visual album Lemonade, the rumour mill went into overdrive as fans speculated who the star might be singing about on her song “Sorry” when she sings: “He only want me when I’m not there, He better call Becky with the good hair”. Given Beyoncé’s high-profile relationship with Jay Z, rumours about their marriage soon circulated as her fan base speculated the identity of “Becky”.
