The Beckhams come home

They're back –and they're bigger than ever. The Beckhams returned to Britain last night, amid news that David may yet return to the Premiership with Tottenham, and Victoria is pregnant with their fourth child.

The Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp was last night hopeful that complications surrounding insurance for the footballer, who is wanted on loan from Los Angeles Galaxy, could yet be resolved and the former England captain, 35, might take to the field for Spurs at some point this month.

Meanwhile, a spokeswoman for the Beckhams confirmed that Victoria is expecting a fourth child this summer. It will be the first new addition to Team Beckham for nearly six years, following the birth of son, Cruz, in 2005. The likely birthdate was not disclosed.

The Beckham boys – Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, eight, and Cruz, five – were said to "very excited" about the prospect of a new brother or sister.
