Brother of George Osborne becomes Muslim

George Osborne's younger brother has converted to Islam to marry his girlfriend of 14 years.

The shadow Chancellor's 33-year-old brother, Adam, married Rahala Noor, 31, in a civil ceremony and a traditional Asian Muslim celebration. The couple met as undergraduates at St Andrews University. Mr Osborne, who has reportedly taken the name Mohammed, wore a sherwani suit and turban for the Muslim ceremony.
