Chris Brown continues to wow with his odious behaviour. This week it was alleged that the rapper faked some of his community service (part of his punishment for assaulting his girlfriend, Rihanna, in 2009) after prosecutors claimed his community-service records contained “significant discrepancies, indicating, at best, sloppy documentation and, at worst, fraudulent reporting”.
Brown’s camp is fighting the allegations and his attorney has called the report “frivolous, scurrilous and frankly defamatory”.
If found guilty, it would really mean Brown has been on a roll for the last few months. There was the unveiling of his neck tattoo that looked suspiciously like the well-circulated picture of Rihanna’s beaten face (despite claims it was a Day of the Dead design).
Then there was his recent altercation over a parking space with Frank Ocean, in which Brown allegedly hit the singer and one of his entourage called him a homophobic slur.
And don’t forget his vile Twitter exchange with a female comedian when she dared to question his behaviour.
Perhaps the saddest thing of all is that Brown and Rihanna have recently announced they’re back together and she accompanied him to a hearing that was about him supposedly not carrying out his punishment for strangling and biting her.
