Rod Stewart fathers eighth child

Rod Stewart, 66, has become a father again after his wife, Penny Lancaster, 40, gave birth to a boy.

Aiden, who was born yesterday weighing 7lb 12oz, is Stewart's eighth child. A statement released on the couple's behalf said they were "proud and thrilled".

Aiden is Stewart and Lancaster's second child. They have another son, Alastair, who is five.
