Obituary: William S. White
William S. White, journalist and biographer, died Louisville, Kentucky, 30 April, aged 86. Author of The Taft Story, a biography of Robert Taft, a presidential candidate in 1952, which won the Pulitzer Prize in 1955. Correspondent for AP in the Second World War; later on the staff of the New York Times.
