The public is receiving their first images of the domestic violence evidence found against NFL defensive end Greg Hardy.

Deadspin has published a gallery of graphic images of Nicole Holder, 24, Hardy’s former girlfriend. The images show Holder with bruises across her back, under her chin and along her arms and legs.

In July 2014, Hardy was found guilty of assault and communicating threats. He received 18 probation and a 60-day suspended jail sentence, the Associated Press reported. However, Hardy appealed the decision and the charges were dropped when Holder did not show up to court. She also accepted an undisclosed civil settlement from Hardy.

The pair were together for two years while Hardy was with the Carolina Panthers, where he'd be named to the NFL's pro-bowl team in 2013. Court documents obtained by Deadspin depict one encounter between Holder and police on May 12, 2014 where the images were taken.

“It doesn’t matter,” she told Charlotte Police Officer Jeffrey Kendrick. “Nothing is going to happen to him.”

Hardy received a ten-game suspension from the NFL in 2015 that was eventually reduced to four games. The Dallas Cowboys signed Hardy to a one-year $11.3 million deal in March, ESPN reports.

The Cowboys and NFL are reportedly aware of the photos but have not yet made public statements.
